I am a Brazilian blogger. ‘Ecologia Digital’
, the blog, was started in 2002 and right from the beginning the goal was to translate into Portuguese concepts and ideas to promote meaningful participation and real digital activism. Since 2004 I am the Strategic Information Manager at Brazil’s Ministry of Culture, working to bring the new Digital Culture activism into the government and to turn advanced web possibilities into public policy. My blogging activity brought me to Global Voices Online project, and since 2006 I am collaborating there as the Portuguese language editor. I graduated as a clinical psychologist and despite all that I have 4 ‘kids’: Luiza (21), Gabriela (17), Miguel (16) and Elisa (3).
